The Magoebaskloof Hiking Trail is situated close to the Limpopo Province town of Tzaneen. The trail offers many different trail options for the hiker from two days up to five days. Overnight huts alongside the route vary from old buildings with a forestry feel or more modern built wooden chalets overlooking amazing waterfalls and landscapes. The area is rich in extensive indigenous forest, sparkling mountain streams and pine plantations.
The trail has three different starting points, namely Woodbush hut, De Hoek hut or Broederstroom hut. There are six hut on the Magoebaskloof Hiking Trail. Positioned in groups of two, Woodbush Hut/Seepsteen Hut, Broederstroom Hut/Waterfall Hut, De Hoek Hut/Dokolewa Hut. Different trail options allow for differernt overnight options.
